Meet The real Author

My name is Neftali Rivera, and I am the real-life author of Midtoon. No, I am not a 17 year old boy, as you can see.  

Here I am, with my love and inspiration, Vanessa.

January 5, the day Midtoon Launches happens to be our anniversary. 15 years ago, this amazing young woman decided to try her luck and bet her future by accepting to marry me. I hope the risk that she took that day yields sweet and abundant returns for time and all eternity.

Although I have been drawing for many years, I have no formal education in art, or in web design, for that matter, so what you see around this website may not be of professional grade. I am very happy with the results, though, because for years I have been thinking and talking about publishing a comic strip, and now I have started it.

What will the future hold for Midtoon? I have no way of knowing that, but hopefully, with your support, we will be able to enjoy this little adventure together.

I hope that you enjoy the strip and keep coming for more. As of now, the plans are to publish a new strip three times per week. depending on too many variables to be able to foresee at this time, the frequency of publication may change in the future.
