Here is a closer view of Mabel's sporty look for the last days

of her pregnancy. The image is actual size, so that's exactly

the size I drew it. The line art looks thick because the lines

grow thinner when I reduce the image for the web. I've

considered using thinner lines for my art, but my line quality

has to improve by a lot before I'm confident enough to thin

the lines. So far I have not been able to figure out how to use

the pressure sensitiveness function on my drawing tablet.

You will notice a few changes in Mabel. Some obvious, others not.

  • Her belly has grown to almost popping proportions

  • Her maternity robe has an iron-on decal of stork and baby

  • Her gown is too short. She has to wear leggings underneath

  • her hair is longer. She's wearing a hair clip

  • One more haircut and her blonde hair is gone

  • She's wearing brand name sports leggings.

  • I designed the logo but have not settled in a brand name.

  • Her legs are swollen

  • There is a green stain on the bottom of her gown... mistake.

Please continue with us until the end of Mabel's term so you can meet the little monster (I mean baby) when she's born.

RETURN TO THE HOME OF MIDTOON

NOTE:

Some have observed that Mabel's pregnancy seems

to be taking longer than normal. The pregnancy is

perfectly normal. What changes is that the comic strip

runs in MST (Midtoon Standard Time)  and in Mistoon,

the nine months have not passed.

PREVIOUS REWARDS

This is an enlarged image of the Porcini car I drew on comic strip # 155  You can tell the quality is not that great and

there is no shading, but the actual art was really small. You can see Jenny and Fred in the car

                                                                              RETURN TO MIDTOON

See the progress of the beginning of MIDTOON, Season 2. Our New chapter follows John as he returns to work.

For this Christmas, we have decided to look in our photo albums and found this picture of Jennifer. This was when she was trying her luck in a musical with the Midtoon Theatre Company.

Even though she proved to be a versatile actress, acting in several supporting roles, Jennifer's career never took off and her Broadtoon and Hollytoon dreams remain that, dreams.

The picture presented here was during dress rehearsal for the play Santa's Carol and she found that her uniform was too short. The producers of course, told her that they were meant to be like that and the play proceeded as expected.

Jennifer continues to look for opportunities and still hopes to end up playing a major role in a musical or a cinematic production.
