Midtoon 220

The last episode of 2013! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

We moved MIDTOON to the outdoors on this episode. For those who may not have read the archives, Mario is in the Midtoon High basketball team where his girlfriend Anita is a cheerleader, so meeting for an afternoon training stroll in the park is quite usual for them.

The views of the park were a bit troublesome. I had another park prepared, but it was too realistic for the comic so I ditched it on behalf of this one. The problem with this one is that it has so many objects (all those little leaves) that the computer has a hard time handling it.

The young man sitting on the bench is no mere bystander. His name is Charlie and he visits us from the comic, One Zany World, a funny strip created by Chris Kile about the adventures of this guy named Charlie (surprise!) and a couple of aliens that have attached themselves to the poor man... No wonder he prefers to sit in a peaceful park and observe the wildlife... Chris Kile is currently taking a little break from his comics (his site contains some other comics as well), so that should give you time to read his archives and get up to speed with his story, so don't wait any longer. If you like crazy, zany comics, go check One Zany World and tell Chris that I sent so he doesn't sue us for letting you see what Charlie is doing while Chris is not looking...
