Midtoon Appears in the Newspaper

The Midtoon Herald, January 9, 2009

In an unprecedented move, the Midtoon Herald has decided to publish Midtoon as one of its comic strips. The news came as a surprise to the main characters, who thought that the comic would only be online for the time being.

"This is a great development", said John Campos in an exclusive interview. "We are now officially, the most famous family in Midtoon City, with the Exception of our celebrity mayor, of course. This places the burden of being good examples un us, but I'm sure we will go forward and achieve great things together."

Javier Campos could not be reached for his reaction, because he was "indisposed" due to the fact that he had eaten too many of Mabel's Famous chocolate chip cookies. Some fans of the cookies were offended at the last statement, but a spokesperson for the family said that "the recipe for Mabel's favorite Chocolate chip Cookies will be made available shortly".

One can only hope...
