April 24 Observed on April 24 The Midtoon Herald, April 24, 2009 A local Holiday called April 24 was instituted in Midtoon to commemorate the arrival of the first settlers to Midtoon. Ironically, the name of the Holiday, after much debate was decided to be April 24. Effective immediately, all citizens of Midtoon are to begin religiously honoring the day when the Tabuka indians discovered europeans. Verbal tradition has it that the site of their first encounter was by the area now occupied by Centerville, just a couple miles from Midtoon Center. Now, this reporter has to go commemorate something. Copyright (C) 2009, Disassociated Press. We only have one entry for our Contest so far. Come Participate!
