This episode was never part of the originaI script. Life issues came around and I cobbled this together in the last minute to keep my schedule. All hail the lords of Copy/Paste... The next setting, the clothing store where Lisa is going to get clothes for Erik, is taking longer to prepare than usual, but I think it is ready for deployment now. It will be presented in episode 238 or 239, depending on some adjustments I'm making to the script to accomodate RSS.
If you are lost in the story, and going to the beginning of SEASON 3 did not help, here is a small summary of the situation's key points:
Erik broke up with Jennifer and was depressed about it. Mario and Anita gave him a Brides by Mail Catalog. Lisa, who is Mabel's sister was coming for a visit and Erik asked her to pose as a Russian bride to trick his friends, but the trick went too far and now he has to go on a triple date with Mario, Anita, Jennifer and Fred. Lisa did not want to, because by acting as the wife of her nephew she would close the door to posible romance, but finally agreed to help when she was attacked by a drunk man and Erik saved her. As a condition to go out with Erik, she asked to buy him new clothes. Before going to the store, they stopped by the bank where Lisa opened an account to the name of her sister Mabel, but Robert, nicknamed RSS, who knew Mabel many years ago, intercepted her. Lisa tried to get rid of him, but discovered that he is the millionaire inventor of the RSS feed and that he happened to be in love with Mabel, and this brings us to the current strip.
